Frank and Joe (F&J) Scaff Brothers of La Junta Colorado photo tour
The F&J Label can be seen throughout the Ark Valley still, although probably nothing like their hey days. They still produce a fine assortment of canned and bottled goods and I'd like to share a few pics of them. I met a scholarly and ambitious gentleman from City-Data (La Junta Econ Devel) and finally got down to La Junta to meet him and although he's heavily involved with the Economic Development of that
part of the Ark Valley, he helps cook and provide vegatables, chiles, etc. for this company. This F&J company has one particular outlet near my home at Southwest Flavors in Pueblo West across from the library at 263 S. Joe Martinez blvd. Hope you enjoy some of these pics and perhaps a discussion can ensue as to the availability and uses of their fine products... bbq sauces, hot sauces, chile relishes, canned beans, artichokes, grape flavored ketchup, etc. They have a bbq sauce with that Bhut Jolokia "ghost chile" sauce and it is slap-your-grandma-good.
